Love it completely when the Guides give a new meditation and this one in particular really made me smile so as ever I pass it on to you to try to see if it makes you chuckle as well. I love when they share wisdom that can help us and in this energy how very important to help ourselves also to deal with any residual emotional clutter that we have stored in ourselves! I am not even going to give this meditation a title because I hope you enjoy doing it as much as I did without laughing ♥
Take yourself off somewhere quiet and peaceful. Turn the phone off so there is no interruption and allow yourself the time and space you need. Sit quietly and comfortably. I will say again there is no right or wrong way for you to be seated, preferably as comfortably as possible so you can focus on the meditation. Close your eyes and breathe deeply in through your nose, pulling air all the way to the bottom of your lungs and then breathe it out deeply from the bottom of your lungs again through your mouth. Do this three times and then relax.
In your mind’s eye look down into your lap and see there is a packet of brightly coloured balloons. The packet is open, reach into the packet and select a red balloon. Notice how bright it is and think about how amazing it will be to be blown up, brilliant and round. Bring the balloon to your lips and take a deep breath in and blow it into the balloon, as you are blowing the air into the balloon, feel all the pressures of responsibility, organisation and stress being pulled from your root chakra flowing upwards through your body and being blown into the balloon. Feel all that heaviness being released from your root chakra and being blown out through your lungs and filling the red balloon, making it darker, redder and blow out every single resentful feeling stored in your root chakra into the balloon. Notice how quickly the balloon fills up with air and how much lighter you feel in your base chakra. Tie off the balloon tightly at the base containing all of the air within and gently hold the balloon out into the air in front of you. Watch now as the balloon pulls upwards pulling from your fingers and floating off into the air. Watch it as it goes up and up until it is a small speck and then disappears. Take a cleansing breath in and pull it down deeply into your lungs and blow it out gently.
Reach now into the bag of balloons and take out the orange balloon. Again take a deep breath in and breathe air into the balloon, feeling the pull off your sacral chakra of expectations of yourself, judgement of yourself and negativity towards your creative being. Feel the pull of it off your sacral chakra as the orange balloon fills and deepens in colour, becoming richer and deeper as the negative energies flow through you and out through the exhalation into the brilliant orange balloon. Notice also a lightening in your sacral chakra as all of this emotional energy clutter is blown gently into the balloon. Blow the last breath of air from your lungs and into the balloon and gently tie it off. Again this balloon pulls gently at your fingers to be release and let it sail up into the air following the path of the orange balloon as you feel less pressure in your sacral chakra and a lightening feeling within your physical being. Take a cleansing breath in and pull it down deeply into your lungs and again blow it out gently.
Reach again into the bag of balloons when you are ready and take out the yellow balloon, it is beautiful rich in colour like the sun, it shines brilliantly just waiting to be filled with heavy energy to empower it to float beautifully in the air. Take a deep breath in and start to blow up the balloon, feeling all the heavy energy from connecting with others, ownership of frustrations, and interactions flowing from your solar plexus, filling the brilliant yellow balloon with the energetic clutter accumulated over your day and deepening the colour of the yellow balloon as all that weight is release through your lungs and into the balloon. Blow the last breath into the balloon from the bottom of your lungs, feeling the relief off your stomach as your solar chakra is cleared from the residual unwanted energies. Take a cleansing breath in and pull it down deeply into your lungs and again blow it out gently.
Reach again into the bag of balloons and pull out the green balloon, rich grass-green this balloon is begging to be blown up like the others. Notice how light you are feeling in yourself as you take a deep breath in anticipating blowing this balloon up and removing energetic weight off your heart chakra. Blow deeply into the green balloon, blowing into it any hurts or misunderstandings you have taken to heart over the course of the day, blowing out any smothered emotions, anxiety or pressure, lack of love you have felt you have been given during the course of the day, or the week. Fill the balloon deeply with air, watching as the colour of it deepens and changes as you blow out through your lungs all of the weight that you have been carrying on your heart chakra. Any guilt, blame or recrimination is being blown into the balloon and away from your being. Tie off the balloon tightly and feel how quickly it pulls at your fingers to be released. Allow yourself to let it go with love and take a deep breath in and feel how unrestricted your chest feels, like you can pull in a tonne of air and breathe so very, very deeply without that weight you have been carrying on all the lower chakras and your heart. Take a cleansing breath in and pull it down deeply into your lungs and again blow it out gently.
Reach again into the bag of balloons and pull out the brilliant blue balloon, royal blue in colour and take a deep breath in and start to blow up the balloon. As you blow up the balloon, think of all the unsaid things you would have liked to say, the comments that you smothered, the times you felt awkward but wished you had of said something, and blow all this stagnant energy off your throat chakra and out through your lungs and fill the blue balloon. Place regrets, frustration and anxiety into this balloon through your breath and watch it fill brilliantly and increase in size, darken with all of these things. Tightly tie off the balloon and allow it to float off upwards into the sky exactly the others before it. Notice now that your throat feels less constricted and you feel freer in your airways. Take a cleansing breath in and pull it down deeply into your lungs and again blow it out gently.
Again place your hand into the bag of balloons and bring out the indigo balloon, rich as a night sky this balloon is so rich you cannot see through the colour, take a deep breath in and blow out from the bottom of your lungs, all the imagined scenarios that never come true, the worries and the doubts, and the thoughts that stop you seeing clearly, the distortions and expectations, allow all of these to flow off your mind, as the breath from your lungs blow all of these thoughts into the balloon, filling it and darkening it even more. Creating a rich, deep indigo balloon filled with all the obstacles and blockages from your third eye chakra. Tightly tie off the balloon and again let it float upwards following the path of the ones before. Watch until it disappears from sight. Take a cleansing breath in and pull it down deeply into your lungs and again blow it out gently.
Take the violet balloon from the bag of balloons and take a deep breath in and start to blow up this beautiful balloon, as you breathe into it, know you are blowing out through your lungs all the mental clutter, all the thoughts that circulate around your head and distract you, blockages, worries, circular thoughts. Blow all of this mental junk into the violet balloon and clear all the clutter off your crown chakra. Notice as you are blowing into this balloon, that you are feeling lighter, happier and less weighed down at a mental and thought level. Fill the balloon completely and tie it off tightly. Hold the balloon close to you and listen to the babbling noise coming from the balloon and smile as you have released all the clutter and unwanted thoughts, bringing you clarity of mind. Let the balloon gently float upwards into the air and join all of the others, disappearing from view. Take a cleansing breath in and pull it down deeply into your lungs and again blow it out gently.
Now feel how light you are, how clear all your chakras are and the response in your body to this as well Look up into the sky and notice now that tiny golden snow flakes are raining down from the skies and landing on your gently, empowering you and sinking deeply into your skin and into your body, each time they gently touch you, you feel the joy and wonder of being starting to seep deeply into you. Sit under this shower of light as long as you want.
When you feel revitalised and humming with energy, gently bring yourself back into your body and slowly open your eyes. You will feel light, lifted and re-energised in all of your body and your chakras. The other good thing about this meditation is it is helping you to breathe properly, we have a tendency to breathe very shallowly and this also constricts the oxygen flow we need for our well-being as well.
